Today Marks The Anniversary Of Eddie Guerrero’s Final Televised Match Airing

Let’s take a moment to remember one of the all-time greats. 

Technically Eddie’s last match was on November 8th, but it aired on the 11th, so that’s what I’m going with. It’s obviously one of the most tragic deaths in wrestling history, as Eddie was someone who was universally loved by fans and co-workers alike. The finish to this match is the perfect way to end Eddie’s career. I just wish it could have happened many more years down the road.

Eddie had some of the best facial expressions I’ve ever seen on a wrestler. He could make you hate him with a burning passion one moment, and love him the next. You could go from cheering him on and desperately hoping he’d pick up the win to laughing at the fashion in which he did it.

Celebrate Eddie’s life this week. Go on the WWE Network and watch some of his matches. From ECW to WCW to WWE, pick out a handful from each, and study one of the all-time greats.
